Greenwood Elementary Celebrates Read Across America Week
Greenwood Elementary School celebrated Read Across America Week with themed dress-up days and guest readers. The school thanked community members who visited classrooms to read books and stories to students. Students participated in a variety of themed dress-up days, including "Picture Yourself as the Main Character," where they dressed their best for picture day. Other themes included "Wild About Reading" with animal prints, "Lassoing Up a Good Book" with Western wear, and "Places We'll Go," where students dressed as their future career choices and favorite book characters.
